Rhonda Tetreault, Assistant Coach
In her second year with Maryland Gymnastics, Rhonda Faehn-Tetreault
brings a tremendous deal of experience and much success to Maryland
Gymnastics. Originally from Coon Rapids, Minnesota, she was a member of
the 1988 Olympic Team and has previously trained under world famous coach
Bela Karolyi.
In addition to the Olympics, Faehn-Tetreault has seen action in other
gymnastics competitions. in 1988, she was the United States vault
champion, scoring a perfect 10.0 and in 1987 was the highest U.S. finisher
at the World Championships. In that same year, Faehn-Tetreault also was a
Pan American Games gold medalist. She was also a member of the U.S.
National team for four consecutive years and prior to coming to Maryland,
she was the head coach at lanco Gymnastics Trainig Center in Lancaster,
pennsylvania. Faehn-Tetreault also assisted the women's gymnastics
program at UCLA for two years under Valorie Kondos.
In her time at Lanco Gymnastics School, 1994 to 1996, Faehn-Tetreault
organized a team program for levels 4-10. She was in charge of
choreography fot the beam and floor exercises and coached her level 9 team
to a state championship. She was also a Master staff member, clinician,
and counselor at the USAGTC Gymnastics Camps in California and
Massachusetts, the International Gymnastics Camp in East Stroudsburg,
Pennsylvania, and, the Woodward Gymnastics Camp in Woodward,
Pennsylvania.
Faehn-Tetreault graduated from UCLA in 1994 with a B.A. in History and is
currently married to Craig Tetreault, the head coach at Rebounder's
Gymnastics Club in Timonium, Maryland.
